How Amber does it

  • Not just text

A card can hold a snippet, an image, a PDF, a file or a document. Amber reads the words inside images and PDFs, so a screenshot is found by what it says.

  • Organised the way you work

Projects hold shelves, and shelves nest inside them. Smart shelves are saved searches that stay current, such as “PDFs used this month”.

  • Reachable without opening the app

Widgets, Shortcuts, Spotlight and, on a Mac, a menu bar item and a ⌘⇧A shortcut that brings Amber to the front from any app.

  • Yours, not ours

There is no Amber account and no Amber server. Your library syncs through your own iCloud. The app has no analytics, no tracking and no ads.

Questions

Does Amber work on both iPhone and Mac?
Yes. One App Store purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac, and your library syncs between them through your own iCloud.
Is Amber free?
Amber is free for up to 25 cards. Amber Pro is a one-off purchase, not a subscription, and lifts the limit.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Amber uses the iCloud account your devices already have.
