Clipboard manager

A clipboard manager that keeps only what you ask it to.

Amber does not record everything you copy. Keep the things worth keeping, the address, the link, the screenshot, the paragraph, and reach them again in a tap from iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Amber on an iPhone: a card copied with one tap, confirmed by a small “Copied” notice at the bottom of the screen.

How Amber does it

  • Kept on purpose

Keep from the clipboard with a widget, the Share sheet, the Services menu on a Mac, or by dropping a file onto Amber. Nothing is captured behind your back.

  • One tap back out

Tap a card to copy it. Images and files copy as themselves, not as a filename, and Amber confirms what went onto the clipboard.

  • Across your devices

Your cards sync through your own iCloud, and you can beam one straight to another of your devices. No pairing, no cable.

  • Private by design

No Amber account, no Amber server, no analytics in the app. Passwords belong in a password manager. Everything else you reuse can live here.

Questions

Does Amber keep a history of everything I copy?
No, and that is deliberate. A full history fills with passwords and one-time codes. Amber keeps the things you choose, so what is in it is worth finding.
Does it work on the Mac menu bar?
Yes. Search your cards and copy one from the menu bar without opening the window, or press ⌘⇧A from any app.
